Insight of Web 3.0 technology stack
The technology stack of Web 3.0 comprises of a decentralised network that is highly user-centric. Web 3.0 is based on a peer-to-peer network in which no single authority has control. No centralised servers are present and information is distributed among users’ devices. Web 3.0 tends to provide back individual freedom and user privacy on the World Wide Web. The Web 3.0 technical stack is complex even by the core developer standard, hence it has a steep learning curve. Depending on the size of the change, the time will be required by the people to adopt it.
While the technical architecture of web3 is still evolving, some of the fundamentals of the design are evident. It will have different layers, such as the application layer, decentralised application, hardware client, and internet protocol network. The first layer will be the application layer which will consist of the dApp browser, user interfaces, and application hosting. The dApp browser will allow the user to access the decentralised application. For instance, MetaMask is one of the top ones. It works as a plugin that the user can simply add to their existing browser. Normally, the applications reside on the top of the tech stack, although, in decentralised solutions, the blockchain elements are primarily focused on the back-end. This is why there are more elements on the top of the application level. The change of the internet era from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 will have minimal impact on the end user but it will be revolutionary at the backend. The transition from the client-server model to becoming decentralised and open network will have to change the core tech stack of the web and hence, will be huge and granular. The transition may first require developing a partially decentralised web and then converting it to a fully decentralised ecosystem. The user should consider that they will be more secure as compared to the earlier version but the new system will be much slower.
It might be challenging to incorporate the main factors of the World Wide Web into the new era of Web 3.0. The future of the Web 3.0 comprises of several promising sights so far. However, the development behind the ultimate web 3.0 is not unrealistic. The procedure is still under development and requires many improvements, so users can expect a better digital experience in the future.
